Micheal vs the devil

This tattoo was actually the finish area of a sleave.
We had done the sleaave from start to finish with every bit planned before hand except this area.
The client came in one day and said he wanted an angel fighting the devil.
I pulled my jacket aside and showed him the shirt I was wearing and asked if he meant something like the design I had on the front of my shirt.
It was exactly what he wanted.
I didn't even mess with the design.

This second picture is pretty much just to show the placement better and to show the contrast from the sleeve I had just done on the client and the style of the fighting angels.
The entire sleeve was a solid and semi bold style color piece.
Then .. Bam!
Hard shade black work.
Loved the contrast.
