Cornelius Rooster became the spokes-character for Kellogg’s Corn Flakes in 1957.
This is a great mascot because roosters are always up bright and early... ready to start the day.
In the beginning of his advertising career he couldn't crow until after eating some corn flakes and the tag line was... “Nothing gets you crowing in the morning like Kellogg’s Corn Flakes.”
Pure advertising genius if you ask me.
The version you are seeing here is a pretty recent version of the corny rooster.
I thought it was cool somebody wanted a current version because his image changed not at all until the 90's.
